About The Program
Individual and group counselling is provided on a confidential basis, by qualified professionals. If you are experiencing any of the following, our services can help you.

There is a per session fee. The John Howard Society also has a sliding fee scale for those clients with limited resources.
Group Counselling
Group programs provide a setting where you work with our staff and with other clients to identify the source of your challenges and develop options to help you manage those issues. See the following program information pages for more specific information on how each can play a role in helping you.
- Active Parenting (for parents of children 04, 5-12, and teens)

- D.A.D.S. (Dad Aiming for Direction and Support)
Referrals to the JHS Counselling Program come from: community agencies, employers, physicians, psychiatrists, hospitals, police services, lawyers, courts, family and friends or the individuals themselves.
