The services JHS can offer the community are possible because of the support of many parts of that community. Federal, Provincial, Regional and Municipal governments, United Way, special foundations and corporations have all played an important part in helping us to help you.
We also count on donations from individuals. Small or large, every dollar really counts and makes a difference for someone we serve. By donating to the John Howard Society of Durham Region, you help support a spectrum of effective prevention and intervention programs that help individuals and families throughout our community to feel included, valued and respected, and able to achieve their full potential.
All supporters receive:
- A personal letter of our thanks for your support
- A charitable tax receipt in accordance with Canada Revenue Agency rules
- E-mail notification of upcoming JHS events (if e-mail is provided, and you opt-in)
- E-mail notification of when our newest annual report and financial statements are posted online (if e-mail is provided, and you opt-in)
